Telford Miniature Exhibition
The LSCM R&D Centre contributed four miniature models to join the Telford Miniature Exhibition. The four miniature models including the Model of Baby Tracking System for Hospital Environment, the Model of Smart Film Library, the Model of Abattoir Pig RFID System and the Model of E-lock System for Transshipment Cargoes, presented LSCM’s technologies to a total of 9 million-traffic during the 1-month exhibition from 17 May to 16 June. The animated and sounded miniatures attracted great attentions from the visitors. Among the four miniatures, visitors found the Model of Abattoir Pig RFID System and the Model of E-lock System for Transshipment Cargoes the most interesting.
The Model of Abattoir Pig RFID System imitates the efficient checking process of pigs tagged with RFID ear-tags when they arrive Sheung Shui Slaughter House from the Mainland. The E-lock System for Transshipment Cargoes Model showcases the container transshipment process in-between customs control points which trucks with E-lock pass the control point smoothly without repetitive inspection. This presents how E-lock system helps to shorten the clearance time from 2 hours to 5 minutes. |
