Delegation Visit: Thailand’s Department of Industrial Works

The LSCM R&D Centre welcomed a delegation visit from the Thailand’s Department of Industrial Works on 21 June. A group of 30 delegates was shown LSCM's recent R&D endeavors and projects by our Business Development team, before being introduced to the demonstrations of recent projects in our showroom. Among all the projects undertaken by the LSCM R&D Centre, the delegates were most interested in our E-Lock-Based Enabling Technology for Container Cargo Transshipment Process.

The Smarter Value Chain Forum sponsored by IBM

The LSCM R&D Centre supported an IBM sponsored forum, The Smarter Value Chain Forum. The forum was hosted on 21 June, aimed to promote application of technology as a way to add value to the supply chain. Dr Frank Tong, Director, Research & Technology Development at the LSCM R&D Centre, has joined the Forum as a panel speaker to offer valuable insights on how technology is used to add value to the supply chain.
