Since 2006, LSCM has been fostering the development of core competencies in the logistics and supply chain related technologies and facilitating the adoption of these technologies by different industries. And 2021 is our 15th anniversary. It’s my honour to be on board as a new chairman starting from this special year.
From early 2020 onwards, Hong Kong has been facing the challenges generated by COVID-19. LSCM has developed different technologies which have been deployed in the combat against the pandemic. They include the award-winning electronic wristband and monitoring system for Hong Kong’s “StayHomeSafe” Home Quarantine Support Solution, logistics technologies for the COVID-19 Universal Community Testing Programme and the on-going COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.
In view of the adversity brought by the pandemic, LSCM will remain steadfastly committed to the R&D of novel technologies to help the industries cope with the challenges and capture the opportunities ahead. Our board of directors will also continue to work closely with the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) to support the LSCM teams led by our CEO, Mr Simon Wong. With the team’s great effort, LSCM will keep contributing to the society with our expertise and research capabilities.
We are looking forward to working together with our industry partners in order to develop world-class technologies for the logistic and supply chain and other sectors.
Ir Dr Alan LAM
Chairman of LSCM
