Startup Series: 10 Things I Leart from Y Combinator
Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (WTIA) will be organising a sharing session including startups which joined accelerator programs Y Combinator and Techstars. The night event will be held in City University of Hong Kong on 29 May 2015 (Friday), with the theme of 10 Things I Learnt from Y Combinator.
Best known as the most prestigious accelerator program at Silicon Valley, Y Combinator only accepts about 2% of applicants. Nevertheless, 9gag and TeamNote are the merely two startups from Hong Kong that have ever made it. Moreover, Keith Rumjahn, founder of Coachbase, will also show up to share his experience in participating Techstars, another top accelerator program at the Valley.
Through the presentations given by the guests, the organiser hope to bring aspiration to startup people who are interested in joining accelerator programs. The event will also offer an effective platform for companies and talents to have exchange and mingling with speakers and other attendants. No admission fee will be charged.
