LSCM Logistics Summit 2013

The Internet of Things (IoT) has gained a lot of international attention from governments, industries and academia. The presence of new technologies has stepped up IoT research and has facilitated technological improvements in various fields, including transportation, logistics, finance, retail and healthcare sectors. Furthermore, real-time Location Base Services (both indoors and outdoors) are also becoming more important in today’s business environment. These technologies will likely bring a multitude of business opportunities and societal benefits in the coming future.

The LSCM Logistics Summit 2013 aims to promote the adoption of technologies related to the logistics and supply chain industries, to cultivate collaboration between government, industry and technology partners, academia and research representatives, and to showcase the research efforts and innovative technologies of the LSCM R&D Centre.

The full-day programme will be divided into two sessions: First, our many notable speakers, including government officials, industry professionals and academic representatives, will be invited to present an array of keynote speeches based on their diverse professional experiences. Afterwards, guests will be invited to participate in concurrent technology seminars to discuss latest industry trends and perspectives, industry solutions, and the different applications of IoT and Location Base Services technologies.

Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) is Hong Kong’s leading Centre of technology research and development (R&D) across numerous sectors, both public and private.
