The competition of 第十二屆粵港物聯網大賽 is guided by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and organized by the Guangdong Provincial Internet of Things and Internet + Industry Alliance and GS1 Hong Kong.

With the Innovation and Technology Fund project of “BIM Square”: Blockchain and i-Core-enabled Multi-stakeholder Building Information Modelling Platform for Construction Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Hong Kong”, LSCM and the University of Hong Kong, received the “Best IoT Innovative Award”. This award aims at encourages the originality and innovation of products and services development, with IoT technology to overcome special business challenges, and improve service efficiency and product quality.

Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM) is Hong Kong’s leading Centre of technology research and development (R&D) across numerous sectors, both public and private. Since its founding in 2006, LSCM has been dedicated to fostering technological innovation to enhance the efficiency in the logistics and supply chain industries.

These projects were undertaken to not only enhance efficiency, but also to provide effective solutions for the ageing problems across multiple industries in Hong Kong.
