Visit of Mr Nicholas W Yang, The Secretary for Innovation and Technology

The Secretary for Innovation and Technology, Mr Nicholas W Yang visited the Centre on 2 Sep to learn about the Centre’s latest progress.

The visit started with a briefing by our CEO, Mr Simon Wong on the Centre’s major technology-focused areas, including infrastructure information technology systems, the Internet of Things and radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, location-based service technology, logistics and supply chain analytics and applications, supply chain security, and financial services and e-commerce technology.

The Centre also presented its smart navigation for the visually impaired; robotics for the logistics industry, warehousing and construction; and elderly community information technology infrastructure.
