e-SmartPort Platform

In support of Hong Kong’s continued development as a smart port, LSCM collaborated with the Transport and Logistics Bureau to develop the e-SmartPort Platform (eSPP). It is a data-smart infrastructure and inter-organisational software platform to facilitate the sharing of port and logistics information across the port community. Deploying blockchain technology, smart contracts, advanced loT and global positioning technologies, the platform effectively tracks and visualises global supply chains and port logistics, strengthening Hong Kong’s position as a leading international trade and maritime hub.

This solution has won a Bronze Medal in the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva.
