At the Roadshow, LSCM and its partners are jointly showcasing their latest gerontechnologies and smart living technologies, aiming to further enhance the public’s awareness and understanding of the benefits of adopting technologies to cope with the challenges brought about by our ageing population.

LSCM participated in the Cyber's Got Talent Carnival held on 3 March 2019, which was organised by the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force. LSCM designed an interactive game - the EEG Remote Control Robot for the Carnival to let the students experience the fun and convenience brought about by innovation and technology. The game was very popular among the students. LSCM was given a gold award in the election of “My Favorite Booths” at the event.  

Members of the SID of LOGSCOUNCIL visited the laboratory of LSCM which is located at Hong Kong Science Park on 19 February 2019. The delegation visit started with the welcome remarks  by our CEO , Mr Simon Wong.  Apart from showcasing the technologies which are applied in the logistics industry, government departments and public sector, we also demonstrated the Autonomous guided vehicles (AGV), Follow-me Robots, Warehouse Smart Lifter, Robotic Effector System for Label Affixing, RFID Asset Management System and UWB Activity Monitoring System, etc. during the visit.

Representatives from CLP Power  visited LSCM on 12 February 2019.  Our CEO, Mr Simon Wong, expressed his warm welcome to the guests and introduced to them the Centre’s latest technologies and projects. Different technologies were showcased during the visit, which included the RFID Blind Cane Navigation System, Service Logging and Information Kiosk System, Smart-service Robot, Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Activity Monitoring System, the Virtual Reality (VR) System for Strategic Operation Training, etc. The guests were also interested in the Centre’s Gerontechnologies. Some solutions which could help to promote energy efficiency and build an age-friendly smart city were introduced to them.

Professors from UC Berkeley visited LSCM Science Park office on 22 January 2019. Our CEO, Mr Simon Wong, expressed his warm welcome to the guests. We have showcased our technologies in Robotic and Automation, including Heavy Duty Autonomous Guided Vehicle (AGV), Smart Service Robots, Real Virtuality for Aircraft Inspection Training System, Smart Elderly Lifter, etc.

LSCM took part in  the Smart @ Hong Kong - Our Smart City Journey Conference which was organised by the Hong Kong Productivity Council on 10 January 2019. LSCM showcased the RFID-tagged Vest and Gate Door System, iBao and the Service Logging and Information Kiosk System at the event. Mr Simon Wong, CEO of LSCM, was invited to be the speaker at the Conference.
