Scottish Development International (SDI) is the international economic development agency of the Scottish Government. SDI's aim is to broaden Scotland's international appeal as a first choice source of knowledge and to assist the growth of the Scottish economy, by encouraging inward investment to Scotland, facilitating technology and other collaborations with Scotland and helping Scottish-based companies develop their international business. SDI has offices around the world, including in Beijing and Shanghai as well as Hong Kong in China. SDI’s services include the provision of information, introductions and advisory services.
