Hong Kong has always been the hub of trade, logistics and maritime in the South China Region in past decades.  Against the backdrop of China’s Belt and Road and the GBA initiatives, we are witnessing a paradigm shift impelled by the trade tension between the US and China with the resulting production relocation and supply chain re-alignment on the one hand, and the burgeoning e-Commerce on the other. The combined impact on the trade and economic development in China and ASEAN countries is profound.
