Dr Fan is a Director (R&TD) and Chief Researcher at LSCM since April, 2015. He has a vast experience in research & development of various robots and/or robotic systems including surgical robots for total knee replacement surgeries, wall climbing robots for carrying out NDT/NDE of pipelines, mosaic tile wall inspections, window cleaning as well as interactive robotic toys. Recently, Dr Fan has been developing robotic systems/devices for logistics and elderly applications. Dr Fan published over 50 articles and holds numerous patents in US, EU and China.
