Senior System Analyst / System Analyst

Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering: Collect and analyze user and system requirements through interviews, workshops, and document reviews. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
System Design and Specifications: Prepare and review system design documents and implementation specifications, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Test Management: Lead and oversee all testing-related tasks, including the planning, execution, and management of various system tests. Ensure that standards are met and issues are identified and resolved.
Vendor Management: Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure effective delivery of systems and services. Evaluate vendor proposals, monitor performance, and facilitate communication between stakeholders and vendors.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive system and user documentation, including test reports and review reports. Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date.
System Demonstration Support: Provide support for system demonstrations, including preparing demo environments, presenting key functionalities, and addressing user queries.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years of IT-related work experience, with proven experience in software design and development or infrastructure setup.
Solid knowledge of database systems, web development, or mobile application development.
Experience leading developers in the implementation of software projects is preferred, but not mandatory.
Experience leading testers in conducting various tests (e.g., UAT, SRAA/PIA, load and stress tests, or Red Team tests) is a definite advantage.
Government project experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong team orientation, fast learning ability, and excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills; immediate availability is a definite advantage.
Proficient in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is preferred.
