After a great success in the past two years, the LSCM Roadshow will return for a third year. The roadshow will expand its scale to stage at Olympian City in the first half of 2015.

The theme of technological innovations for community care will be underscored. The Centre’s own-developed RFID reader, which is small form factor and low-cost, can assist the daily lives of people with special needs, such as the visually impaired, individuals with speech impairments and the elderly, etc. Visitors can learn more about how this technology helps the underprivileged group during the roadshow.

Some logistics related state-of-the-art technologies including Wi-Fi based indoor navigation, active RFID capabilities for indoor environment, as well as auto-sweep shelving system for inventory management will be showcased during the roadshow.
